Theme: Islamic Education and the Future of Learning

Al-Insyiroh: Jurnal Studi Keislaman welcomes submissions for Vol. 13 No. 1 (March 2027) with the theme “Islamic Education and the Future of Learning.”

This issue aims to examine the transformation of Islamic education in response to technological innovation, globalization, and changing educational paradigms. Contributions are expected to explore new pedagogical models, digital learning environments, and innovative approaches in Islamic educational institutions.

Suggested topics include:

- Digital transformation in Islamic education
- Curriculum reform in Muslim educational institutions
- Islamic pedagogy and character education
- Artificial intelligence and ethics in education
- Innovation in pesantren and madrasa education
- Online religious learning and authority

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that bridges educational theory, Islamic scholarship, and contemporary educational challenges.

Al-Insyiroh: Jurnal Studi Keislaman invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their manuscripts for Vol. 12 No. 2 (September 2026). This issue will focus on the theme “Islam and Religious Moderation in Plural Societies.”

The issue aims to explore the role of Islam in fostering peaceful coexistence, social harmony, and mutual respect within multicultural and multi-religious societies. The journal particularly welcomes interdisciplinary approaches that analyze contemporary challenges related to pluralism, tolerance, and interfaith relations.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Religious moderation in Muslim societies
- Islam and multicultural citizenship
- Interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding
- Islamic perspectives on tolerance and coexistence
- Local wisdom and religious harmony
- Muslim identity in diverse societies

Starting from Edition 2025, citations and bibliography of Al-Insyiroh Journal use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style which previously used the Cichago style. For this reason, all authors who will submit to the Insyiroh Journal can use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style in writing citations and bibliographies.
